Getting to and from the event
The race will start and finish in the magnificent Pembrey Country Park. If you’re travelling by car, Pembrey Country Park is situated just off the Main A484 road between Carmarthen and Llanelli.
The M4 junction 49 is located to the east of Llanelli (approx. 30-40 minutes away when there is light traffic, but please bear in mind that on event day this is likely to be longer.) The A40 covers the approach west and north of Carmarthen and the post code for the park is SA16 0EJ.
The roads entering the park are expected to be busy so please plan your journey to and from the event well ahead of time and car share if possible.
Parking
There is parking available on site and this service is managed by Pembrey Country Park. Please be aware that you will need to pay for your parking via the pay stations on site situated at the Beach Entrance, Ski & Activity Centre, and Log Cabin before you exit the park. Pay stations are clearly marked and will accept card and cash payments. Alternatively, you can pay in advance using the Pembrey Country Park website.
Drop off zone
This year we have a DROP & GO area for those who prefer this option. You will need to enter Pembrey Country Park and follow the road along, before the turn around point near the cafe (please be aware you’ll have approximately 10-15 minutes to enter and leave the park before charges apply).
All those being dropped off PLEASE do not drive further into the park after the drop off area due to the high volume of traffic expected! All runners MUST be race-ready in the event village no later than 8:30am!
